NatSKA Rounds 8 & 9 - Whilton Mill

Having had to miss Round 7 whilst we fully rebuilt the kart after the damage sustained in the crash at GYG, we were back in action again for the new 'double-header' concept that NatSKA is trialling this season - effectively, two Rounds in one weekend at the same circuit.

We started in a variety of positions over the weekend and made really great progress. Although not holding onto the pole position start, we finished well and with lap times that matched some of the more experienced drivers - and beat plenty of others!

We're definitely making excellent progress and learning all the time!

The weather was kind to us all weekend and track conditions were as close to perfect as anyone could have hoped for. That gave us plenty of opportunity to test out different kart set-up formats and find which ones gave us the best results.

We had a great time and are fired up and looking forward to Fulbeck in two weeks time!
